I wish I had the time and energy to record down this magical moment when it happened, but homework and projects swept me away.... so let's just take time back to 4th November, okay?

Sunday was another day in the middle of her hell week.
She didn't even know when Saturday ended and Sunday started 'cos of the all-nighter at Gab's house with the rest to finish up the arduous stats project (which I'm super glad we finished it and are submitting it tomorrow morning); for the first time, she unlocked the doors to home at 4 am in the morning.
And woke up 7 hours later, not fully rested, panda eyes at it's worst, but happy and looking forward to the rest of the day.. was finally going to see him after an extremely drilling and demanding, projects-after-projects, meetings-after-meetings, tests-after-quizzes, week.
There are no Sundays in university; she lugged her laptop and notes even though it was "our day" :( She even had half a thought to call off meeting him to rush out everything due, but she wanted to see him more.
Then, everything seemed normal when she saw him... or maybe she was too exhausted to notice anything, or maybe she's just as blur as always.
She didn't even notice him disappearing and walking in to the room again with something 'cos she was totally absorbed in complaining about school and homework to him/the air while checking her phone during a meeting on Whatsapp... Even when he had already returned to the room and was sitting on the computer chair, staring at soccer news, with a small grin on his face.
She was still yakking on about how tiring hell week was.
He kept smiling.
She wondered if he was listening and who won the soccer match and wanted to frown at him and pull his ear.
And that's when she turned around, planning to sit on the bed (to complain some more)
...and saw the Surprise he had mentioned a few nights ago, which she had completely forgotten during the flurry of deadlines, projects and late nights.
She literally stopped in her tracks and in that moment, everything, every single frustrated crease, furrowed eyebrows, upcoming sighs and frenzied thought vanished.
Her first thought was: What's that doing there? Was it there just now?????? Is it his sister's??
Then, she turned around and caught that glint in his eyes and that cheeky smile half-formed across him face....
and I knew.
That unexpected moment, the forgotten surprise, the feeling of being unprepared, just simply surprised, his smile, my smile, the happy tears that barely formed, everything, I don't want to forget anything.
Just let me have it, all of it.
Nothing, absolutely nothing could spoil that Sunday afternoon.
Not even when we had to bury the bright colourful fluff under bedsheets because Genie became an extreme green eyed monster and was super persistent to tear it into pieces, not even when the rain poured and poured outside... 'Cos that meant I got a rare, warm trip out to catch the bus home too.

And that's how my nights are gonna get a little warmer, a little fuzzier, and how my bed, and heart, is a little more crowded now.
